Chief Technology Officer

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is responsible for all Víntegris’ technological needs as well as its research and development (R&D). The CTO examines the short-and long-term needs of Víntegris and utilizes capital to make investments designed to help the organization reach its objectives. The CTO is also fully involved in the definition of Víntegris’ Strategy, key customers’ relations’ liaison and overseeing of infrastructure.

Responsibilities & Supporting Actions

  • The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) responsibilities include leading the strategy for the technology platforms, partnerships and external relationships related to technology.
  • Oversee all architecture design and changes in Víntegris’ Intellectual Property.
  • Identify, compare, select and implement technology solutions to meet current and future Víntegris’ needs.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage emerging technologies.
  • Develop, track and control the development of annual operating and capital budgets for purchasing, staffing and operations.
  • Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to satisfy internal financial targets.
  • Create overall technology standards and practices and ensure adherence.
  • Consolidate our technology platforms and create plans for each one.
  • Track, analyze and monitor technology performance metrics.
  • Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in the technology landscape.
  • Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation and creativity.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Sales and Operations to define and deliver new products and enhancements.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous working experience as a CTO (Chief Technology Officer) for at least 5 years.
  • Master’s in Engineering, Computer Science or similar relevant field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Digital Signatures, Digital Certificates, Digital Identity, Cybersecurity, web systems architecture, design and development.
  • Wide understanding of today’s IT landscape, current IT tendencies as related to Víntegris’ ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with complex project management.
