In 2016 Víntegris has increased the number of customers and strengthened its implementation in the market with its own technology solutions vinACCESS and vinCERT. In parallel its Services Division continues to manage an increasing volume of projects

Víntegris has made a significant innovative effort in 2016, aimed at the evolution of its technologies towards the global solution nebulaSUITE, which has also included the investment in the creation of its own certification body and the adaptation of its digital certificate management technology to the European directive eIDAS, in addition to the process of obtaining Common Criteria certification. As a result, investment in research, development & innovation has risen to 475 thousand euros, 10.3% of its turnover, and stands as the largest investment in innovation made by Víntegris throughout its history.

Consistent with the growth in the number of clients and projects, as well as the company’s innovative effort, the number of employees has continued its strong upward trend in 2016. At year-end, Víntegris has 71 employees, 32% more than the previous year.

The high R & D investment, as well as the participation in international fairs and the necessary expansion of the company’s offices in Barcelona to accommodate the increased volume of employees has restricted the results for the year. The result before tax stood at 529,053 €, 2.0% above the 2015 figure, while EBITDA totalled 751,868 €, 5.0% more than in the previous year.
